Sales Executive  -Telco, Media & Technology-(TMT)

Experience\:

Total 7-10 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in sales experience

Position Description\:

You will be responsible for driving new sales and expanding existing business in Virtusa’s Telco, Media and Technology (TMT) sector. The position focuses on selling high value, end to end, professional services in areas such as\: digital strategy, data/data visualization, cloud, engineering, 360 view of client, campaign management, ecommerce, analytics, big data, IoT, etc.

 

The target market is large enterprise or upper mid-market. The industry focus would be selling into TMT accounts.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to develop relationships and pipeline that result in the sourcing of new opportunities. Responsible for establishing marketing programs that will create and accelerate pipeline. Must have the ability to create outer pipeline activity as well as move opportunities through the pipeline to closure. 

 

This is a quota carrying, commissioned sales role that we will measure targets on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis. There is a significant emphasis on developing pipeline, meeting targets and exceeding customer expectations. The candidate is required to provide a proven track record of being an over-performer/exceeding quota. Candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented, good multitasker, and comfortable with using technology and office tools as part of the sales cycle.

 
Responsibilities \:
  • Qualifies and generates new account logos and revenue with focus on TMT accounts
  • Aggressively prospects and effectively builds and manages a sales pipeline by working with clients, channel partners, direct networks, marketing and campaign results – a true sales hunter role
  • Able to define and setup selling programs that produce consistent results
  • Collaborates with business/delivery executive as part of the sales cycle
  • Drives proposal process and participates in proposal development
  • Drives campaigns, events and other pipeline building activities
  • Constructs deals in accordance to profitability goals
  • Performs formal deal reviews
  • Manages pipeline and activities through SFA tool (Salesforce.com)
  • Facilitates and actively participate in contract negotiations, contract management and closure
